The gavel bangs, the door is slammed shut
It is too late I have already sealed my fate
Now I sit and wait in my cold cell
I must pay the price forever in this living hell

I am a prisoner I’m trapped in my own head
There can be no escape until the day I’m dead

Day by day the walls close in
A crushing consequence of my unforgivable sin
Incessant isolation drives me to the brink of sanity
And as I walk that line I fall on the other side

I am a prisoner this cell will be my grave
As I waste away in here I am but time’s slave

Slowly my life evaporates
Five wasted decades all because of my mistakes
As the light approaches they prepare my pyre
But the light is not of heaven it is of hellfire

I am a prisoner death was no release
The pain and torture it will never cease
